WEEKLY DANCE Classes IN LOGAN VILLAGE

Village Rockers are predominantly a 4 step Rock - n - roll Club. We have weekly classes in the Lions Community Hall in Wharf Street Logan Village on Wednesday nights 6:40pm to 9:30pm. Doors open at 6:30pm Beginners - from 6:40pm to 7:40pm. Intermediate - from 7:45pm to 9:30pm. Dancers are welcome to attend both classes. Rock -n - Roll Dancing for Fun and Fitness

Village Rockers Inc. offer a friendly Social network and opportunities for 4 step Rock-n-Roll dancers to enjoy their passion.  ​
We have monthly Club dance nights featuring live music provided by local and not so local rock-n-roll bands. A great chance to put your glad rags on and socialise.
We also offer peer Instructors who teach beginners and intermediate lessons on a voluntary basis.  ​

ANNUAL CHARITY GALA DANCE Saturday 5th September 2026

The 2024 Village Rocker Gala dance raised $4080.00 for the Defenders of Hope. Our annual gala is usually held in July raising much needed support for local charities. A new charity is selected each year. Watch this space for details of the 2025 gala dance

History of Village Rockers Inc.

Village Rockers began very simply as a group of half a dozen friends attending lessons and practising together about 2008. 
We decided to design Rock-n-Roll shirts for ourselves and chose the name Village Rockers.  We had grown to about 20 members by then and regularly attended the Beenleigh Bowl's club every Sunday evening.  
We needed a Committee to plan regular dances and outings, so we progressed to Incorporation.  We formed an Incorporated Association in March 2013 with about 60 members, and became Village Rockers Inc.  
Village Rockers Inc. is an Incorporated Association, and is managed by a Committee of President, Vice Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer in accordance with the Act for Incorporated Associations.   Several other management positions exist within the club including Social Activity Director, Publicity and Membership officers.  We hold $20 million Public liability Insurance and we pay the appropriate APRA licence fees for the music we play at lessons and dance events.
